Wow time is really flying for me lately with all these weddings on the horizon. This past weekend I had the pleasure of watching one of my friends marry her best friend. It was truly a special evening at a lovely TN venue. My friend is very girlie so when I was thinking about the type of card that I should make for her I knew I wanted to use the Rose!! Of course I had to make a coordinating envelope to also go with this pretty card.
Technique that was used:
Embossing: I first stamped using my Versa Mark pad and then used the Gold Embossing powder over the rose. This gave a nice little shine to my card and also gave a raised edge.
Water Coloring: I used my aqua pens (these are seriously a great item) and then took the blushing bride color and water colored my rose. This gave my rose a little bit of extra dimension in the flowers.
Markers: For the leaves I just used our Mint Macaroon Markers and colored them in.
Accents: Finally I used smome of our pearls to add a touch of elegance in the middle of the rose and 2 on both the W and S of WISHES (in blue)
