To kick off our weekend I created this fun little project after being inspired by the Global Design Project #094 sketch this week.

When I first looked at this I instantly thought about those gorgeous new gold stripped bags that we have. From there I looked through all my stamps and decided that I really needed to add some ink to my Bike Ride stamp set because it was starting to get lonely. Since this stamp set just has a lot of great images I needed to find a set that had a great sentiment. Just Add Text seemed like the best choice for this. So here is  my project:

I am going to use as an envelope for a card that I am making for a fellow friend. As some of you know I am changing jobs and moving up in my engineering career. We are about to move to Charlotte, NC from Baltimore, MD. I am really excited about this change because I am graduating from my rotational program and this move should be the last one for a while. I have moved to 4 different states in 3 years now and I am ready to settle. But with saying hello to this new adventure it also means that I have to tell some friends here goodbye… and that is so challenging for me. Anyways I wanted to make something really special for my friend because I am going to miss her dearly. We are work friends too so we usually did lunch together once a week and talked every morning. I hope that she loves it and I created it using her favorite color too Berry Burst.. even if she only knows it as purple 😉
