Yesterday was my amazing husband’s birthday and we had a wonderful day. First we were able to sleep in and then we had a great lunch at a local wing place. It was super special since his mom decided to visit us for the weekend. We love living so much closer to family and them being able to come and visit us. We just had a lazy afternoon where Drew watched football games and then took a nap.
So I decided to make an oversized z-fold birthday card. Since I was not sending it I decided it didn’t have to be a regular sized card. I decided to make it super huge and decided to make it a 6″ x 12″ and then decided to do the score lines at 3″ and 6″. I decided to use the Foil Frenzy Designer Series paper because it looks like confetti going throughout the card and was fun and festive. I also wanted to make sure that the card really sparkled so I used the silver glitter paper and used one of my favorite thinlits. I absolutely love the Happy Birthday and then I used the Number Thinlits. Finally I used the honeycomb balloon to add balloons to the card too. I am so excited how this card came out and Drew loved it too!
Also a reminder that there are so many sales going on this month including the World Card Making day and the buy 3 get 1 free DSP sale. Make sure to use this month’s hostess code when you place your order under $150.
