I am so excited to have you back this month for another Stamp-N-Hop!!! If you are starting with me you are in for a real treat this month with this group of stampers and if you have already been hoping along you know how fab all the projects are. This is a brand new group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world sharing our love of Paper Crafting. I am excited to be one of the members of this group.
So greetings from Charlotte, NC where all of our flowers are starting to bloom and you can tell that spring is definitely on its way. This month’s theme for the hop was to use our 2nd release Sale-A-Bration items. Can you believe that this is the last month of Sale-a-Bration!!! I am so sad to see this amazing time of year go away. But the good news is that you still have time to put in a $50 order and get product for FREE.. and honestly who doesn’t love free??
For this project I actually ended up using 3 Sale-A-Bration items but I felt they all went together perfectly.
I started this process by deciding on which stamp set I wanted to use. It was actually pretty easy since I only had this one new stamp Eclectic Expressions (147338) set in from my last order. I actually had a completely different concept but when I saw the awesome Happy Birthday in this set and the accent sparkle pieces I knew it needed the lavender set too. I have seen so many cards using this beautiful set that I decided it was time to add some ink to my set too. Lots of Lavender (147194) definitely needs to be a set that you get on your next order. Finally I used one of the cards from the Sweet Soiree Memories and More card pack (147353). I used Berry Burst and Old Olive for the ink colors and stamped off with the Berry Burst to give the Lavender a lighter color. I used full ink with the Old Olive on the leaves to add a little bit more contrast to them. I also stamped off with the Old Olive around the lavender bunch to give some added dimension to the card. Since every card always needs an embellishment I thought these Glitter Enamel Dots (144200) were perfect. They give a little bit of sparkle and the colors matched perfectly.
I hope that you enjoyed this card as much as I did making it and I hope that the person that receives this card will love it too. Make sure to keep hoping around and leave these wonderful demonstrators some love on their blog in the form of a comment. We always appreciate knowing if you enjoyed our creations. Until next month!
