A final 2016 Push!

Welcome Back!

Ahh it is Monday, but not just any Monday it is the Monday after a 3-day weekend AND the final Monday of Sale-A-Bration how sad. So in honor of all the wonderful things that you still have a chance to get (hurry it ends March 31st) I made a card using only our wonderful Sale-A-Bration items!

So one of my favorite stamps has definitely been this Pedal Pushin’ stamp that we have had. I mean look at how cute this little bike is! This card is going to a very special Delta Gamma sister who won an award in my beloved sorority. I wasn’t able to be there myself due to prior commitments so I thought I would send her a card. I also love the Hi {that’s all} sentiment from our Party Pants stamp set. I took our sponge daubers and “painted” over the clear washi tape that we have and then after attaching it to my card  I took my dauber again and gave it the effect that the grass was a little higher in the background. DSCN1139

This card will also be going to a Delta Gamma sister but for her birthday. Again I used the same stamp sets and all the same techniques as the card before. Of course since I am actually sending her a birthday card I had to use my #imbringingbirthdays back stamp!!! This stamp is so much fun to use.

Overall I would rate these cards as a medium to make because there were a couple of different techniques that I used and they were a little time consuming. I think to make both of these cards it took me about an hour.
