Special Delivery Global Friends Hop

Hello!!!

I hope that this blog post finds you doing well. If you are new to my site Welcome!! and if you have been with me for a little bit and follow me through social media you will know that we are in the process of moving from MD to NC for a job change for myself. When I am not stamping, I am a Manufacturing Engineer for a large fortune 200 company. I am loving all the new and crazy challenges that work has to offer but it has taken a little bit of time away from stamping. Today should be the pack day of all of our things and hopefully next week we will receive it and can start unpacking again.

Anyways back to the card. I love the tulips hostess set that we have and love how it really pulls this card together.

This crate was inspired by my time in Amsterdam this year for our Onstage conference. There were so many tulips all around us and it always reminds me to take a step back and go a little slower through life. This card was created for a very special family member to celebrate her birthday! I hope she loves the card as much as I love her and making it for her.

The inside of the card is again very simple:

If you would like to also own this set all you have to do is host a party (either in person or virtually) or if you place an order of over $150 you can also use your Stampin’ Rewards to purchase them.

Also wanted to remind you that I am hosting a retreat in October that is open to all but space is limited! If you are interested in joining please message me. Prices will come available soon.

Have a great day! Make sure to keep hoping along and give Kimberly some love by either clicking on the arrow below or click HERE

Global Stampin’ Friends Blog Hop Children’s Card

Hello Friends!

If you are joining me from Susan Vilar welcome! I hope that you are enjoying this blog hop so far. If you are joining me because you are one of my customers I am so excited for you to join this blog hop! I am so excited to share my card with you today. Our hop theme was back to school and I decided to make a card for my godchild. She is starting Kindergarten this year and I thought that this card would be a sweet surprise for her.

So here is the front of my card:

I just love this super adorable set A Little Wild (Item #144344) and used the black ink pads to stamp them around. I used our Stampin’ Write markers to color in the bear and bees. I also thought that the sentiment was also fitting since I am so wild about her.

On the inside I decided to use our Angel policy stamp set Crafting Forever (Item # 143958) because I loved the scissors and the pens and brushes.

I hope that you enjoyed these cards and that you will continue to hop around. Please also ensure to subscribe to my blog to continue to get updates from me.

I also wanted to share with you all that I will be hosting a retreat in Charlotte, NC. I hope that you will join me. The cost and projects that we will be doing will be coming soon, but for now make sure to Save the Date!

Thanks for joining me,
Christina

A Bike and Goodbye

Wow today marks my first day in a new job. This has been a long time coming because I completed my rotational program and received final placement. Drew and I will be moving to Charlotte, NC in the next month and I am really excited for this new adventure. With this new adventure I had to say goodbye to one of my great friends at work so I wanted to make her a very special card. I followed up with the beautiful envelope I made the other day and you can find that blog post here

I absolutely love this golden bags (Item #144255) and you can purchase them in my online store. I think these will become really popular around Christmas time so I would get them now. Also remember that every $50 that you spend in July you will also receive a $5 coupon to use for August.

This card really has such a wow factor to it and it was simple to make. First I started with our beautiful Fresh Fig ( one of the new in colors) card-stock and also a piece of Whisper White. I used our new embossing past (Item #141979) and added a few drops of real red re-inker and silver glitter to give a little extra sparkle. It gives the effect that it is a nice summer day and you are out for a stroll. I then took our brick patterned decorative mask. These are really the best deal in the catalog because you receive 4 of them for $6 (item #144103). I took the paste and ran it on a diagonal up the card because I just wanted to give a sense that the brick wall was there. I stamped the bike again in Fresh Fig ink and then used my big shot to cut it out. The bicycle stamp (item # 145314) only has images so it pairs nicely with our sentiment only stamps which I used here ( item #143858).

The inside I wanted to keep it really simple so that I can write a lot inside it. I am loving our new washi tape (item # 144221) because it pairs with all of our products wonderfully. Again I used the bicycle stamp set images on the inside to spice it up a little bit more.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that this card inspires you and gets those creative juices flowing.

I also wanted to share that we still have our amazing incentive for new demonstrators happening. On top of being able to put anything into your starter kit (like that amazing big shot) you will also get an exclusive bundle worth up to ($72) for free so that you can hit the ground running. I did a short Facebook live video showing all the products that you can get. Make sure to visit my Facebook page here

German School Bag

I was so excited to create this awesome project. In Germany all kids that are about to go into first grade get this super cute bag filled with candy, toys, and things for their school. I used all Stampin’ Up! products except for the bag part, which I used a large poster board that you can get from one of the big box stores. All I did to get the cone shape is to continue to roll it until I received the perfect shape that I was hoping for. This project came together really quickly and was really simple.

Below I have all the contents that are inside the bag. I feel like I am super cool because I bought the big box of “good” crayons. I remember when I was a child I loved having this big box of crayons so I figured it would be appropriate to purchase them too.

I also decided that this would be perfect for the Global Design Project Challenge #095 because it is a kids theme.

I hope that you have enjoyed this fun project and that you will create a bag for your children, grand children, or any children that you may know that are about to enter the first grade. This project was made with a lot of love (and some frustration) but that is how project go right? Once I was finished with it my Sissi cat decided she needed to add her touch to the project. When I woke up in the morning she re-opened the tissue paper that I had wrapped it in. Luckily I was able to fix it quickly and ready to be delivered.

If you have any more questions please reach out to me. I would love to help you create this fun project.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Tic Tac Toe Week 1 Inspiration 2

I hope you all had a great weekend! I know that I did. This past weekend we went white water rafting with family in TN. It was such a great time and we got some amazing pictures. I will be sure to share them here soon. Need to start thinking of some great ways to start memory keeping all these amazing adventures.

I wanted to share another project inspiration with you all today using the Tic Tac Toe board that I created

This time I decided to go straight down the middle using stitched ribbon, in colors, and an embellishment. So this is the project that I created

Again I used another stripped gold bag because I think that they are so cool. I created this fun a quick tag using the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper, Pacific Point Stitched Ribbon, and the new Label Me Pretty Bundle. I used Tranquil Tide as my in color and I think it all goes together beautifully. Again this was a quick and simple project that you can stick some home made cookies into the bag. These would also be perfect for Christmas Cookies.. now I know that sounds early but we are already in July. And if you go ahead and purchase everything in July you can get $5 towards any of your August purchases for every $50 that you spend!

I want to remind you that if you have been thinking of joining my team and joining the Stampin’ Up! family now is definitely the time to do it. Need some convincing?
All new demonstrators get:

  • $72 value of a starter bundle with everything you need to hit the ground running.
  • For $99 you get to pick out $125 worth of product from the Catalog. That means anything that you want from the catalog you can put into your starter kit. How many companies let you do that?
  • Earn fabulous trips. Next year Stampin’ Up! is taking an Alaskan Cruise. And anyone can earn them.. even you!
  • Attend our Onstage conferences. These are absolutely amazing! Not only can you be the first to see the new catalog, but you also get to make new friends and have a great time! See the picture of me below meeting our amazing CEO Sara! (Again how cool is that)
  • ME!!! So this is what I bring to the table. I am easy going and I just want you to hit your goals. Do you want to be the next Million Dollar Stamper??? Great let’s get you there. Do you want to be a hobby demo and receive that amazing 20-25% discount??? Awesome let me help make sure that you meet your quarterly minimums. Summer Night Tic Tac Toe

I took some inspiration from my Tic Tac Toe for this next project. I also decided to create a video how to on how I created this fun card. You can watch the video below

So here is the card that I created. I had so much fun creating this card. Mainly because while I was recording my roommate was making fun commentary through the recording. I had already decided to do a voice over so it didn’t matter but it was still hilarious to watch and be part of.

Again if you would like to see how I created this video you can check out the YouTube video here. Also make sure to subscribe to my channel so that you never miss a video.

I also wanted to remind you that when you purchase $50 in product you will also receive a $5 coupon to use in August. This coupon can help you receive this fun thinlets that I used to create the trees.

Also you are running out of time to join my team and receive the additional Bonus gift. I would hate for anyone that is considering joining to miss out on this awesome opportunity. If you want to see my unboxing of the awesome bonus items that you can receive check out the Facebook Post that I created Here

Also a reminder that if you do place an order under $150 please use the hostess code below.

Wishing you a Happy Friday! Please subscribe so that you never miss a post. Also make sure to check out my other social media pages: Instagram, Facebook, and my VIP Facebook group where anyone can join.

Global Design Project #094

Hello!!! I am so glad that you are joining me today. If you have found me through the Global Design Project’s website, welcome! If you are a returning friend I hope you are having an amazing week!

To kick off our weekend I created this fun little project after being inspired by the Global Design Project #094 sketch this week.

When I first looked at this I instantly thought about those gorgeous new gold stripped bags that we have. From there I looked through all my stamps and decided that I really needed to add some ink to my Bike Ride stamp set because it was starting to get lonely. Since this stamp set just has a lot of great images I needed to find a set that had a great sentiment. Just Add Text seemed like the best choice for this. So here is  my project:

I am going to use as an envelope for a card that I am making for a fellow friend. As some of you know I am changing jobs and moving up in my engineering career. We are about to move to Charlotte, NC from Baltimore, MD. I am really excited about this change because I am graduating from my rotational program and this move should be the last one for a while. I have moved to 4 different states in 3 years now and I am ready to settle. But with saying hello to this new adventure it also means that I have to tell some friends here goodbye… and that is so challenging for me. Anyways I wanted to make something really special for my friend because I am going to miss her dearly. We are work friends too so we usually did lunch together once a week and talked every morning. I hope that she loves it and I created it using her favorite color too Berry Burst.. even if she only knows it as purple 😉

I also wanted to remind everyone that if you need some additional inspiration that I have the Tic Tac Toe board still available and I would love to see your creations. Make sure to #pgttt001 on Instagram and Facebook so that I can see them and like them.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I know that I will. We are heading to TN to go white water rafting with family and I am beyond excited. I love white water rafting and it is always so much fun. Make sure to follow me on Instagram to maybe get some pictures, @papergears is my handle if you are searching for me.

Daisy Friend Card and Tic Tac Toe

Do you ever just sit and get creative block? It is like writer’s block but when you are trying to be creative. I know I do! So I was hoping that we could inspire and create together. I made a Tic Tac Toe board and you pick 3 elements off it (either vertical, horizontal, or diagonal) and create a project from that. Sound like fun? You should try it and then use the #pgttt001 on Instagram and Facebook so that I can see your lovely creations and re-share them. Your account must be public for me to see it on Instagram.

PGTTT001

I am going to try this for the month of July and I want to hear from you guys if you like it. If you do we can continue to do it. If not we will find something different.

So to get you all going I am going to share the card that I created and what inspired me. So I used the inspiration of the Summer Stamp, A punch, and Bright Colors.

IMG_0758

I love the Daisy Suite that we now have but I have been so busy that this is the first time I am actually using it. I used our gorgeous new glitter enamel dots for the center of the card to give it some extra pop. I also used the pretty label punch and added a sentiment from the Daisy stamp set.

Below is the inside of the card.

Daisy Friend Card

I cut down all of my Designer Series Paper to be 4×6 inches so that I could easily take a piece of paper and start creating. I then trim down my paper to fit my card front. Afterwards I have this beautiful extra strip that I can use on the inside to tie the entire card together. If you are interested in sampling of these 4X6 sheets please reach out to me for pricing and availability.

Finally right now is the best time to make a $50 purchase because for every $50 that you spend in July you will receive a $5 voucher to use in August. How cool is that.

bonus days

Also if you join my team you will get a $72 value pack to help you hit the ground running on top of the already great starter pack. Need more info? Message me.

Have a great Thursday!

Paper Gear’s Tic Tac Toe 001

Do you ever have creative block? When you sit down and you are ready to stamp with all the amazing stamps from the new catalog and you just get overwhelmed? I totally know the feeling and that is why I have been brainstorming on how to over come that. So this is my solution: Each week I am going to post a Tic Tac Toe game that you can participate in.
All you have to do is pick 3 items either across, diagonally, up, or down.

Make sure that you use the hastags #pgttt0001 and #papergears so that I can see all of your creations and comment on them on social media. I will be following Facebook and Instagram.

PGTTT001

The other great thing about July is that for every $50 that you spend you will receive a $5 credit that you can use in August. This is a great time to get all those items that you have been wanting and now you can also get rewarded for it too!

bonus days

Also now is a beautiful time to become a demonstrator. On top of the $125 worth of products that you can choose from for only $99.. which is already a great deal. You can also get $72 worth of free products including an pre-leased Christmas stamp set. You will also be the first to see the new Holiday catalog coming out and of course getting to join my fun team. Do you need more details?? Make sure to email me and I would be happy to share.

Have a great 4th of July,

Christina
