Hello.. You may be thinking that I have lost my mind to be talking about Christmas but here is my thought. Every year I get this crazy idea that I am going to make everyone Christmas cards and that THIS will be the year that I am going to be on top of it and actually do it. Then sometime around December 15th it occurs to me that I haven’t even started yet and there goes another year of not doing Christmas cards.
This year will be different and the key to this is starting early. So here we go and I hope you join me. Thankfully Stampin’ Up! already has some amazing Christmas products that you can get your hands on now. If you decide to just make 5 -10 of these designs yourself after a few weeks you will have your Christmas list completed way before Christmas time so you can move on to other fun Christmas projects and be that cool person
Tips and Tricks:
Embossing: I used the Gold Embossing powder to add some sparkle to this card without having to use glitter. I think it gave it some added texture that I am really loving
Rounded Edges: Use the Project Life Corner punch is a must have for anyone. I kept seeing someone else use it and decided I just needed it too. Let me tell you this has made my cards so amazing and I think you need it too!
Make sure to remember to SHOP with me to get all of these amazing Stampin’ Up! products.
Thanks and I hope you are inspired to get those Christmas Cards ready!
Does it ever feel like sometimes time just slips away from you?? I feel like that has been happening this week so I wanted to say sorry for not posting as much. But if you are like me you are super excited about the June Paper Pumpkin! Here is a fun sneak peak that I created.
Did you not order a paper pumpkin??? Make sure you give it a chance!! Visit www.mypaperpumpkin.com and get your subscription started. Please remember to pick me as your demonstrator
Anyways here is my fun mix on Paper Pumpkin. I just loved everything about this kit.
A thank you is always so important and I am so honored to have such an amazing Maid of Honor that has been standing by my side through this entire wedding process. So we became friends in high school when we went to Governor School for Emerging Technology (aka nerd camp).. which is also where I met my future husband. Let’s just say after 2 years of being roommates in college, lots of crazy and funny stories later, her wedding, miles of living apart, and crazy road trips, I am so thankful that she has stuck by my side all this time.
So this is the card that I made for her. I will be giving it to her this weekend at my bridal shower. I hope that she loves it. I think the jar is so much fun and I was so excited to see it in our catalog.
This card ended up being a little more of an actual square vs a rectangle. Again I am working on going through some of my old DSP (because you can’t just throw it way) so I created another envelope to go with this card.
Tips and Tricks:
Big Shot: So what really makes this card is the big shot and being able to use the thinklits for both the jar and the flowers. It just gives an extra piece of dimension to the card.
The Jar itself: This jar set just needs to be on your must have list. It is truly amazing and reminds me of my summer nights in TN growing up as a child. Plus it is so in right now to have mason jars in weddings so this could be a perfect wedding card too!

It is baby season and you will be probably be seeing more cards for babies over the next few months from me. This particular card is going to a colleague at work who just has a baby.. 3 weeks early. Threw off my whole game plan but I am really excited about how this card turned out.
Look at how cute the Baby Bear is and you know what??!!! It was super simple to create! All you have to do is stamp.
I loved the idea of a little baby carriage on the inside. It gave it a little extra pop that I think that the card needed.
Finally I created a coordinating envelope to go with this card. I decided to use some retired paper because I have been dying to use it on a baby card and this was the first chance that I had.
Tips and Tricks:
Baby Bear Colors: So when you are creating your baby bear you use the least amount of detailed bear first (looks like a big blob) with your Lightest color. For me what I used was Daffodil Delight and stamped off 1 time. Then I used the middle variation of detail and used Daffodil Delight again but with the full color. Finally using the stamp with all the color I used Dijon color.
Multi-Color Ring Stack: Are you wondering how I was able to made so many different colors on the ring stack? I used our amazing Stampin’ Markers and colored in the stamp and then stamped onto my card stock. Easy right!
Circle Framelits: These are new to our catalog and I am so glad that we have them. You can make beautiful scalloped circles and now you only have to buy 1 pack instead of a ton of punches. You use the framelits with our Big Shot (Truly a must have)
Remember to shop with me and check out my website of all the upcoming events that I have going on.
Have you been thinking about trying Paper Pumpkin? Now is your chance!! For New Customers only you can receive your June Paper Pumpkin for $5 (what a steal) This is a 31 Hour Sale only starting June 9 at 7 PM Eastern and ending June 10 at Midnight
I was sitting here looking at the new Affectionately Yours Embossing Folder and inspiration struck me. I am working on all things wedding (less than 100 days to go) and this jumped out to me for my place cards.
I love how simplistic they are and that they are not complicated. This may be something that I do with my bridesmaids in the near future. I am going to use the large numbers to cut out which table they are all sitting at.
Hope that this simple idea inspires you for your showers, dinner parties, or even weddings. Remember now is a great time to purchase all the new catalog items and if you reach $350 you get an additional $35 in rewards!!
One of my co-workers had his birthday last week and I missed it. uhhh I hate when that happens. Last week was really crazy with prepping for Relay for Life so I didn’t have a ton of extra time to really sit down and make a card. Thankfully I have my paper pumpkin and whipped up a super cute card in 10 minutes!
So this is the card that I cam up with. Very much like the instructions that were given but like I said I was on a time crunch.

So here is my card both the outside and the inside with an envelope.
Tips and Tricks:
Standard Card Size: I made a standard card size 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 which is also a 8 1/2 X 11 cut in half and then scored (so with 1 sheet of paper I made 2 cards)
Banner: I created the banner by just using some whisper white paper and my snips to trim out the banner.
Extra bling: You may not be able to see it so easily in the picture but if you look in the middle of the camera I used a Rhinestone to give it some sparkle to my card and give the appearance of a Flash!
Hostess Only Stamp: Do you love this stamp set? Make sure to do a workshop with me because that is the only way that you can get this amazing stamp set! It is the Pun Intended Stamp set and it is truly amazing.
Embossing the Inside: I wanted to add a little bit of detail to the inside of my card so I used one of our new flower embossers to add this fun flower to the inside.
Truly handmade: Everything with this suite was made by me including the fun envelope. Use our Envelope punch to make your own!
All order information that you need is below and if you click on the picture it will take you directly to my online store. Again make sure to use the Hostess Code at the top of this post if you have an order below $150 without S&H or Taxes.

This Saturday I am participating in Relay for Life in Dundalk, MD! And really I am not just participating I am the team captain of my team! Something special that our Relay for Life team is doing is giving each survivor that visits our tent some type of prize, goody bag, etc.
I decided that I was going to make them a small treat bag and add a cute little tag to it too.
I am making 100 of these so I wanted something that was simple and easy to do but still looked good and this is what I cam up with.
Tips and Tricks:
Background Stamping: I used the perpetual calendar stamp set to make the fun stars in the background. I used a 12×12 sheet of Whisper White paper and stamped it with Daffodil Delight ink. I then cut the sheet down to a 3×2
A Happy Hello: This sentiment is just so great and it is out of the Tin of Cards stamp set. This is such a versatile set too because you can use it for just about anything.
Click on the above picture to go directly to my online store to be able to purchase all these great products!

I was so excited when my team decided to participate in a team swap! Me and my small team (we are currently 3 strong) are all getting married this year so I decided that the theme for our card would be a Thinking of You card. Instead of the traditional swap where you send a blank card we all wrote something encouraging inside it.
This is the card that I put in the mail today to send to my lovely ladies. I feel the sentiment really says it all. Below this post you can find all the items that I used for this card and I will give some tips too. Some of the items I used are already retired but they can give great inspiration!
Tips and Tricks:
Washi Tape: using washi tape on the side is a fun way to add a little bit of color and pop to your card and also was a way to adhere the square to my card.
Square Framelets: These will come out tomorrow (June 1) but being a demonstrator I was able to pre-order them. It is a little harder to see in the picture but the square is actually scalloped.
Background: I love the fun background stamps that Stampin’ Up! has and the splatter effect is no different.
Envelopes: I love our wonderful envelope paper and the ability to be able create my own envelopes. This is an example of it below.
Thank you for stopping by! If you decide you would like to purchase something please visit my online store! Just click on the card picture above to be taken there.
Thanks for stopping by! Excited for you to join me tomorrow with the new catalog launch 🙂
