So again very similar card just switching up the backgrounds to keep the cards interesting.

Make it a great Sunday!

Candles 2

I am back with another variation from yesterday with the candles using this Merry Pattern stamp set that is an exclusive for hostesses.

The only thing that I really changed about this card is the background paper but it really does change up this card. Again this is such an easy and fun card to create and they took no time to put together.

Since it is Saturday I am going to keep this post super short and sweet and I hope you have a great day!

See you tomorrow

Songs and Candles 1

I was really torn with doing something amazing for Friday 13 and all spooky but I also really wanted to continue out this week with the Merry Pattern stamp set. Today also marks an incredibly special day because it is also my 2 year Stampin’ Up! anniversary. So this may be a little bit of a longer post but bear with me.

Anyways here is the project that I created and since we are kicking off the weekend I will have 3 similar cards each day for you to use as inspiration. I am so excited that we have another paper with Christmas carols on it. What makes this paper even better is that it has a few different languages on it like German. For all my amazing German customers in the US I wanted to share that they have Stille Nacht (Silent Night) on one of the papers too!

The supplies that I used are below:

  • Paper: Real Red Cardstock, Whisper White Card Stock, and Merry Music SpecialtyIn Designer Paper
  • Ink Colors: Pool Party, Island Indigo, Emerald Envy
  • Embossing Powder: Gold
  • Stamp Set: Merry Pattern

Again this is such a simple design and with so much paper in our Designer Series Paper packs you can have all your Christmas cards created and sent in time to watch lots of Christmas movies without any stress.

So since it is a Friday I will have another Freebie with any order placed today! So this is how I am going to celebrate my Black Cat Loving friends and Friday 13!

So with any size order you place today using the hostess code below until the end of today you will get these super cute cats sent to you. You will get at least these two and if I am feeling witchy I may throw in a few more black cats!

So my last thing is sharing my Why I joined Stampin’ Up! with you. I had been looking for a craft in a box to be sent to me and found Paper Pumpkin and then realized I could also make this a business. I debated trying it because what if something went wrong I mean I loved to craft but really make this a business??? Crazy talk.. well that weekend my life flipped and a close friend passed away unexpectedly and I realized that life was wayyyy way too short to keep sitting on the sidelines. I mean honestly what was the true risk if I started this business? I spent $99 and got lots of cool great product and oh yea I get a 20% off everything I purchase. There really was no losing so I decided to join. I found someone to sign up under and have been learning and growing ever since. Sooo if you are sitting there thinking of all the reasons you shouldn’t do this I encourage you to stop and think of all the reasons you should!! I hope you will join me and I would love to answer any questions that you may have.

Make sure to join me again tomorrow as I continue on my 31 day blog challenge. Until tomorrow

Shine Bright

We are coming close to the last days of my parade of this amazing Merry Pattern stamp set. Have you loved it so far? I hope so because I really loved creating projects with this amazing stamp set. I was flipping through Pinterest a few weeks ago and a card caught my eye using the gold fabric pattern in the Year of Cheer Designer Series Pack. I had just kept the thought of it in the back of my mind while creating this card. Well after I created the card and browsing Pinterest again I realized that I had completely cased Michelle Mills’ card accidentally.

I also created a video but it is causing me issues trying to pull it off my phone so I will work on it over the weekend and hopefully get it uploaded to YouTube soon!

So here is my finished card:

The products that I used are:

  • Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper and Fresh Fig as my card base
  • Silver Snowflake
  • Stitched Framelits
  • Merry Pattern Stamp set, Fresh Fig and Emerald Envy ink

Again minimal amount of product and super quick and fun to put together. Also a reminder that time is running out to get this amazing stamp!!

I also hope that if you are in the Charlotte area that you will join me for my new Open Crop nights. Check out my events tab up above to see when my next event is!

Ohhhh Nooooo!!! Are you regretting not signing up for your October Paper Pumpkin? Make sure to sign up now so that you can still get the November kit when it comes out and a birdie told me that they should have enough kits from October that you can get the refill pack when they become available. But you must be a subscriber in order to get it!

If you do decide to place an order through my online store make sure to use the hostess code. If I have enough people place an order I will give away 1 of the Merry Patterns stamp set so make sure to share with your friends!!

I am almost half way through my 31 day blog challenge and I am so excited about it. Have you been enjoying them? Make sure to subscribe to my blog to ensure that you never miss a post.

Thanks so much for joining me again today and I hope that you have a wonderful day!

Global Stamping Friends Hop 14

Hello and welcome to another great Global Stamping Friends blog hop. I truly look forward to this blog post every month because there are so many talented demos around the world participating. This month is all about Halloween and can you believe it, it will be here at the end of the month.

This is the fun 3×3 card that I created using the amazing Spooky Night Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the great cat stamp set. I finally got some ink on my owl stamp set and I am so loving how this turned out.

I also had so much fun creating the inside and using a few other types of stamps in the set too! I used Lemon Lime Twist (a new in color) and Pacific Point for the potion colors. I may have to do some more cards with just these potions. Also I absolutely love the witches hat too in this set.. Clearly I just love this set and I highly recommend you getting it before Halloween (which is coming up quick).

So if you love this card and project I have a super special for you. I am starting a Freebie Friday at least until Christmas (we will see how this goes) and you can get the following items as long as you place an order through my online store above.

Paper and Stamp Sale

Did you notice the great sale that Stampin’ Up! is having right now??? You can purchase 3 papers and get another for FREE (that is an $11) savings. Think of all the cool things that you could make with that paper. If the below picture is a little hard to see make sure you click on my online store up above and you can find all the paper on sale. This sale ends October 31

I wanted to also share my top 3 favorite papers and why they are my favorite.

Painted Autumn paper ooozzzes fall to me with all the warm and rich tones. It is also a fun end of summer type of paper mixed in too. The sunflowers are gooorgeous and really does not need a lot of extra stamping.

Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper

Just Add Color DSP is going to be so amazing with our new Stampin’ Blends that are coming out. I am so excited for my order to get here because it is a perk to being a demonstrator and getting to order these type of new release early. You can get it too when you join my team. Anyways back to the paper and why I love it. There are so many different designs on it and you can use it for a variety of projects. These would also be great items for the kiddos with the holidays coming up and keeping them pre-occupied on the car rides to grandma. I have cut all mine down to 6×4 in sheets and realized I loved them so much more.

Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper

Naturally Eclectic is just a great all around paper and has some really beautiful shading within it. It also has a variety of colors and shading which makes this paper so versatile too! Think about how vibrant these would make your Christmas cards, or Thanksgiving table decor, or even Valentines day pieces. I just love this set so much!!

Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper

Also don’t forget that there is world card making day special that ends October 10! So again I wanted to share with you my top 3 favorite stamp sets. You will also notice that a lot of our stamps have the coordinating Designer Series Paper that is on sale too! Again you get 15% off these stamps set. Don’t miss out!!! Also heads up that you will want to place your orders on Friday since I will have a freebie that will go out with all orders… just saying

Coffee Cafe is just a great set that is so on trend right now. I absolutely love coffee and Starbucks so this set just spoke to me.

Coffee Café Photopolymer Stamp Set

Just Add Text is so great because there are so many amazing sentiments. I have used this set so many times and it is super versatile. Really it should be a staple in your craft room if it is not already.

Just Add Text Clear-Mount Stamp Set

Birthday delivery was not my favorite at first and if I am being completely honest is one of the few that I still have not really used.. but it is on my list because I do feel that they have some great images. I really love the font on the Happy Birthday and love how this set has a matching designer series paper AND the framelits that you can use on the paper. The fox also looks mischievous and somehow I relate to him…

Paper Pumpkin Inspiration Sept

Have you been considering purchasing a Paper Pumpkin box? Maybe you are not sure what it is. I know that I absolutely love getting this orange box in the mail each month AND knowing that I can put it together quickly. Sometimes you just need a quick card and it is great to pull out these boxes and put them together. Another thing that I personally love is that you always have a little bit extra of something.. so the fun goes on.

If you are a new subscriber make sure you get in on this fun new box that is coming out for October and November. They will coordinate!!!! How cool is that?? They haven’t given us any sneak peaks yet but if you notice on the boxes below they are a little bit different. Make sure you subscribe by October 10 so that you can join in on all the fun.

So for the September project I decided I was going to create these and give them to our apartment complex front office friends. They do such a great job of taking care of problems as they come up and I thought it would be fun to do something for them for a change. I am going to fill these with fun candies and sweet notes for them. Again the great thing is that everything is pre-cut and I just have to stamp and stick them together. I look like a total pro (which I am) but these save me some time too!

I also decided to be a little different and stamp the large leaf on top of the envelope. I also am sharing the video for how to put the kit together too! Make sure to check it out.

Lastly I wanted to invite you to join my team. This is such an exciting time to join and I hope that you will join me on this fun and creative journey. Not sure why you should? One of the best things that I love about being a demonstrator is the discount on all the products that I can get. The other thing is that I am always the first to be able to purchase items from the new catalog and special releases like our new Stampin’ Blend pens. If you are ready to take the plunge just click on the Join my Team button up above or reach out to me and ask me any questions.

Make sure to check out all the great deals that we have going on to the right of you screen!! You will not want to miss them!

Make sure to join me again tomorrow because I am continuing on with my 31 day blog challenge

Have a great day!

NC Demo Hop: Techniques

Hello!!! I am so excited to be joining the NC Demo’s on another hop. This is a fun hop because we are going to be sharing amazing techniques. If you are already a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in NC I hope that you will join us next week. If you would like more info about becoming a demonstrator please let me know.

The technique that I used was the Embossing Paste. This is a great and easy technique to use and learn on. It is also cost efficient and you can make a ton of card quickly and easily. I used the embossing paste, palette knives, and party decorative masks and then mixed in some gold glitter and flirty flamingo ink refill. Add as much of the glitter and the ink as you want and as dark as you want and then take your paste and spread it evenly over your mask and paper. For my paper I used Real Red and my card base was Night of Navy.

For the sentiment and stamp set I used the hostess exclusive stamp set Merry Patterns. I absolutely love this stamp set and so glad that I finally have it in my hands. You can get it for FREE if you host a party that earns $300.. how cool is that. I also used my favorite framelits, the stitched framelits, which really are a must have if they are not already part of your collection.

This card was really simple to put together and it reminds me of Christmas in Europe. Very simple but oh so elegant. I hope that you will continue to join us on our hop and head over to the next blog.

Make sure to go and hop over to Tamra!!

Paper Flock Hop: Fall in 3D

Hello!!! And welcome to our first ever Paper Flock Hop! This hop is comprised of Phyllis Shepherd’s Stampin’ Up! Team members and I am so excited to share all the creations that we have came up with. For the first ever theme we are doing Fall in 3D and show casing items that you can use for fall. I hope you will join us from here on out and make sure to hop along to everyone.

For my project I decided to create a fun box that you could give away at your Halloween party. These would be so great for all the treats you want to hand out. I learned how to create this fun box at the Quarterly NC demonstrator event that I went to. We will also be doing something similar to these at my Retreat in October.

So what you will need to do is take a 6X6 sheet of paper. Using the envelope punch board (item #133774) punch and score on 3 sides at 2 and 4 inches. on the 4th side just punch at the same measurements. You then cut the top of the treat box so that it is flush with the rest of the box (basically the top triangle). And then cut the opposite side on the score lines to the end of the score. You then just put the box together and use your favorite adhesive to stick it all together. If you enjoyed this project I will do a Facebook Live video in my VIP Group that you are welcome to join.

If you want to join our hop you can either join Phyllis’ team or my team and you will be invited to join. Our next few hops are as follows:

I hope you have enjoyed this project and will continue to hop along. Up next is

Upcoming Events

There are so many events going on that I felt it was a good idea to put them all into one blog post.

The first thing that I want to remind you all about is my retreat that is coming up October 21. This will be in Charlotte, NC and space is limited. The cost is $40 which is a great price for an all day event and the projects we are going to make. Make sure to RSVP ASAP before space fills up.

Also have you seen where we are going in 2019 for the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip??? We are doing the Greek Isle and I am working towards earning it. The other great thing is that you can join now and start off the the new Stampin’ Up! year with me. It is only $99 to start and you can put anything you want in your starter kit.

I am super excited for this amazing and exclusive stamp set just for Hostess. You can get it for FREE when you host a party with me. As a special bonus I am also putting together little kits of our ink spots and ink for you. Let me know when you want to host. You can either host virtually or in person if you are in Charlotte, NC.

Much Love!
