So with this card I am going a little out of my comfort zone and submitting this card for the Fab Friday Site. If you are part of my Facebook group and joined my event last week I put out a question to see what kind of cards everyone loves sending. In return for answering I am going to send the participants a card that they can in turn send to their friends. I was inspired by the following sketch:
This sketch really got my creative gears going and I wandered through my craft room trying to put things together. I was inspired by our Moroccan Paper and all the lovely green and blue that I saw within it. I decided to just run with it. I pulled all my supplies together (at least I thought) and then changed direction mid crafting. I think my jars were feeling a little lonely on the shelf because I have not used them in a while and I really want to highlight the amazing Emerald Envy Ombre pad. I mean how amazing is this little pad right?
This was my finished card:
A simple sentiment of just Hi Friend but I am really happy with how everything turned out. Please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think.
Reminder that today is the LAST Day of the Stitched with Love Sale that is going on and it is the perfect time to get those last minutes Christmas stamps to fill the mailboxes with hand made love.
If you would like to purchase the products that I used today please go through my Online store. If you are new to Stampin’ Up! or paper crafting in general I do have a Getting Started tab available to let you know the basic tools that I am always using and how I use them.
Have a wonderful day,

I hope that your Thanksgiving was as wonderful as mine. I spent the week with hosting my parents and we also had the chance to go to Philadelphia. Now we are heading into one of the most wonderful time of the year. We have our tree up and sparkling and I put together my advent calendar. One of the things that I created for better memory keeping is pre-made scrapbook pages. I love our Project Life system and kit but there is just something fantastic about having hand made scrapbook pages. Coming in January I will start offering these classes in person too or as a To-Go kit. Make sure to check back soon for all the calendar events that I have planned for the new year.
Tips and Tricks
- I used the purple to frame my pictures. I wanted it to be a little larger than my pictures. The dimensions for my squares were: 6.5 X 4.5
- The white part I will use to write additional commentary for the pictures.
- I used the Night Of Navy paper and the Thinlits to give the paper some extra dimension
It is also Cyber Monday and we have a lot of amazing products available still for up to 25% off. We also have some amazing products that are just on sale for today! Make sure to check them out before it is too late.
I hope you enjoyed this fun craft project. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you liked or what you would like to see more of!
I had a request come in from a friend that decided she wanted to do handmade Christmas cards. This was such an exciting request to receive. Knowing that she is starting from the ground with Stampin’ Up! products I wanted to create something simple that didn’t require a lot of stamps, inks, adhesive, etc. I was also looking through what we had for a sale with our Online Extravaganza. I decided that using the amazing Project Life Cards and Accessories was an easy way to go.
Here is all the things you get with this great combo set:
- Different sized cards with images,
- Washi tape
- Enamel Shapes
- Wood Shapes
- Acetate sheets (look super pretty on cards)
- And more
Also you will notice that I picked the ombre emerald envy stamp pad. The reason I did this was the stamps that are included are baby stamps and you know have a 5 colors in this mini stamp pad that you can give different looks to.
If you are interested in purchasing any or all of these products please make sure to go to my online store and use this month’s hostess code. Also join me in my Online Facebook Party for great gifts and giveaways all week!
In case you missed any of the deals so far here they are again.

Have a great Tuesday!
Make sure that you check out all the deals that we have going on now until November 28th! Also head over to my Facebook page to see exclusive items for just my customers!
Stampin’ Up! will have an amazing deals all next week to get you into the spirit for the holidays. I am so excited about all the items that they have to offer. Also to kick things off they will be having a one day only deal on November 21. To kick this off I wanted to use some of the elements to make this card. I used the emerald envy ombre ink pad and the enamel shapes. During Onstage at the beginning of the month I sat through a session and the demonstrator showed us the benefit of using these cute shapes and just how great they are. I am pushing myself to start using these more because it gives your card a little extra something and won’t break the bank.
This birthday card is going to a friend of mine and I will also put it in for a daily gratitude competition that I am doing. I loved the ombre effect on this card and how I feel it brings the entire card together.
If you would like to purchase any of these items please go to the bottom of the page and click on the links below.
Here are all the great deals that you can get next week:
Thanks for stopping by!
Yesterday I had an amazing birthday and I am so thankful for all the amazing people in my life. I was fortunate enough to have a beautiful scarf and a basket of muffins that I was able to share with the office. I am also participating in a Random Act of Kindness with cards challenge and this has been pushing me to make sure that I send cards. So I created this really simple card just for this coworker because she makes my life just so much better.
Since I turned 26 I have set 26 goals that I would like to accomplish this year. I will share some of my goals with you over the next couple of weeks and how I am continuing to work towards them. I am so lucky to have a great friend that will be my accountability partner and one of her goals is to create simple cards in bulk. I thought this card would fit the bill perfectly and I hope that it would inspire you to start this new year off with creating and sending beautiful cards.
If you are wanting to get all these great products at a discount and start your 2017 year off super crafty maybe it is time to consider joining my team. I have loved being part of Stampin’ Up! and it has encouraged me to achieve or reach bigger for different goals. It also could help me check off some travel items off my list.. like a cruise to Alaska. Wouldn’t you love to join me?
If you would like to purchase all these materials to start making these cards you can find them below and purchase them through my online store.
Thank you so much for stopping by,
I am participating in a challenge for the next few weeks to send a card a day to someone. This is going to be a stretch for me, not that I have a shortage of wonderful people that I could send cards to but more it is trying to get everything done. I am constantly working though to become a better person and today seems to be as good as any day to make a change.. at least for me. Today happens to be my BIRTHDAY! Whoot Whoot.. So I have been thinking about what I want to do for my 26th year on Earth and I decided to make a goal list of 26 things to do this next year. I am thankful that I have so many people on board with me to help and push me towards my goals and to lift me up when I start to stumble.
So this will be my motto this year as far as working towards my goals and what I will be spending my time on. So sending a card a day as part of this challenge is a priority and I made time for it. I hope that this will start to motivate you also. If you want to see more quotes that will continue to inspire me this year check out my Pinterest page: search SU Paper Gears to find me! I am also on Instagram and document just life so I would love you to follow.
If you would love to make fun cards like these but you are short on time I would highly recommend Paper Pumpkin because I was able to put this awesome card together in about 15 minutes. You can find the link to Paper Pumpkin and to start your subscription at the top of the page.
Also if you place an order today I will share in my birthday celebration and one lucky winner will win a mystery prize!! Make sure to share with your friends and to use the November hostess code if your order is under $150.
Have a wonderful day and I know I will,
This is one of the new stamp sets that you can receive and order during Sale-A-Bration in January. If you want to have this set early you will need to join my team and become a Demonstrator yourself. We as demonstrators can order everything starting December 1st and if you went to Onstage you were able to order a few things also early. I was given this set at the prize patrol and at first I wasn’t sure about it. But then I decided to to just start stamping and I wanted to use the Wink of Stella on the swan, and I hope that you can see the simple beauty of this card.
Tips and Tricks
- This set is truly simple and has so many great sayings. I used the “you have a kind and caring heart.”
- Using the Stampin’ Markers make coloring in the water lilies easy and fun
- You can use the aqua marker and a blue to give the card a look of being on the water.
I hope you enjoyed my card and that you decide to start subscribing to my blog. I would also love to hear from you and would appreciate a comment below.
