I hope that this blog post finds you doing well. If you are new to my site Welcome!! and if you have been with me for a little bit and follow me through social media you will know that we are in the process of moving from MD to NC for a job change for myself. When I am not stamping, I am a Manufacturing Engineer for a large fortune 200 company. I am loving all the new and crazy challenges that work has to offer but it has taken a little bit of time away from stamping. Today should be the pack day of all of our things and hopefully next week we will receive it and can start unpacking again.
Anyways back to the card. I love the tulips hostess set that we have and love how it really pulls this card together.
This crate was inspired by my time in Amsterdam this year for our Onstage conference. There were so many tulips all around us and it always reminds me to take a step back and go a little slower through life. This card was created for a very special family member to celebrate her birthday! I hope she loves the card as much as I love her and making it for her.
The inside of the card is again very simple:
If you would like to also own this set all you have to do is host a party (either in person or virtually) or if you place an order of over $150 you can also use your Stampin’ Rewards to purchase them.
Also wanted to remind you that I am hosting a retreat in October that is open to all but space is limited! If you are interested in joining please message me. Prices will come available soon.

If you are joining me from Susan Vilar welcome! I hope that you are enjoying this blog hop so far. If you are joining me because you are one of my customers I am so excited for you to join this blog hop! I am so excited to share my card with you today. Our hop theme was back to school and I decided to make a card for my godchild. She is starting Kindergarten this year and I thought that this card would be a sweet surprise for her.
So here is the front of my card:
I just love this super adorable set A Little Wild (Item #144344) and used the black ink pads to stamp them around. I used our Stampin’ Write markers to color in the bear and bees. I also thought that the sentiment was also fitting since I am so wild about her.
On the inside I decided to use our Angel policy stamp set Crafting Forever (Item # 143958) because I loved the scissors and the pens and brushes.
I hope that you enjoyed these cards and that you will continue to hop around. Please also ensure to subscribe to my blog to continue to get updates from me.
I also wanted to share with you all that I will be hosting a retreat in Charlotte, NC. I hope that you will join me. The cost and projects that we will be doing will be coming soon, but for now make sure to Save the Date!

This post is all about submitting to be a display board stamper for Onstage Live in Amsterdam. I am so excited to be going to Amsterdam for the first time ever (check on the bucket list) and also attending my first ever Onstage Live!! What is even better is that my amazing Upline will also be there!! Want to join us??? All you had to do is join our team and quick because Onstage registration opens on January 10!!!! I will be highlighting all of these more next week with tips and tricks.
So here are my card fronts:
A beautiful set to share with a friend that I am thinking of her and that I miss having coffee with her.
Love that using Gold Embossing powder makes this card feel like you are catching lightin’ bugs in a cool summers night. It is also a fun shaker card and a great way to use glitter without having it going everywhere!
Fun card to go to one of my host in January and I used the Emerald Envy embossing powder. Gives the top of the pineapple a fun sparkle that again does not go all over the place.
For my Scrapbook page I really wanted to do something personal. I got married on September 4, 2016 and we had a whole travel theme. I thought the balloons and this fun Sale-A-Bration paper was a perfect combo for our first page. The first picture is during our balloon first look reveal. We both had a set of balloons and let them go at the same time. All of our bridal party was able to watch and it is one of my favorite photos. The bottom one was during our first dance.
Lastly my 2 3D items. I have 2 birthdays coming up in February and I thought this was the perfect thing to make for them. One of my friends absolutely loves red with polka dots and I thought this would be perfect little box to give her. I am going to fill both the box and little baggie with candy and maybe some nick nacks. The great thing about our paper stacks is that you do not have to cut them down to make the small box!
Thank you for stopping by and make sure to subscribe to my blog to always get my updates.
Have a great day!
I am excited to participate in this Case this Sketch and I hope you will enjoy this card. The sketch was created by Brian King who is a wonderful demonstrator and a demonstrator that I had the pleasure to attend a workshop with him.
So I decided to make a birthday card and when I saw the sketch below I decided to flip it on its head with the sentiment
Here is the sketch
also visit their website http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/
Ok so here is my card again (in case you are viewing this in an email)
So I love these balloons and the whimsy of them. They were my absolute favorite thing when I flipped open the catalog. The beautiful thing??? The catalog is finally live!!! Whoot Whoot and the best thing of all is that it is now Sale-A-Bration so make sure to check out the beautiful catalog where you can get a FREE item for every $50 that you spend. Make sure to use this month’s hostess code in order to get some additional inspiration from me too!
Wow I can not believe that we are already in 2017! Did you make sure to get your Paper Pumpkin subscription started? No? Make sure to start your subscription now because we will be getting another one January 10 and these definitely are my happy boxes. Something that I love to show my customers is a different way to use their box because let’s be honest you are not going to love each project that comes in your box but you are still getting an amazing deal and unique stamps in each box.
This fun shaker card is going to an amazing friend of mine that is now turning 16!! OMG I can not believe she will be 16. I remember when her mom was pregnant with her and when she was born. She is just a true joy and I thought she deserved a fun shaker card like this one.
If you did receive the December 2016 box and still haven’t put it together Stampin’ Up! created a video to show you how to put them together:
Don’t forget about the amazing chance to be a hostess and earn extra rewards. Either join my hostess club or host a workshop in your home with all of your friends. Contact me for me details.
The sequins that I used are on the retiring list so you will want to make sure that you get them before January 3!!! Make sure to use the hostess code when you order if your order is below $150
To purchase any or all the supplies please use the supply list below. Thank you and have a great Monday!
Stampin’ Up! will have an amazing deals all next week to get you into the spirit for the holidays. I am so excited about all the items that they have to offer. Also to kick things off they will be having a one day only deal on November 21. To kick this off I wanted to use some of the elements to make this card. I used the emerald envy ombre ink pad and the enamel shapes. During Onstage at the beginning of the month I sat through a session and the demonstrator showed us the benefit of using these cute shapes and just how great they are. I am pushing myself to start using these more because it gives your card a little extra something and won’t break the bank.
This birthday card is going to a friend of mine and I will also put it in for a daily gratitude competition that I am doing. I loved the ombre effect on this card and how I feel it brings the entire card together.
If you would like to purchase any of these items please go to the bottom of the page and click on the links below.
Here are all the great deals that you can get next week:
Thanks for stopping by!
I was inspired by my amazing Upline Phyllis because she has been posting so much with Pop of Pink Designer series paper so I pulled that pack out, ripped it open and cut it up… part of my heart crushed a little because I struggle with hoarding my paper. But the reason I used it is because that is exactly why I buy this beautiful paper.. to use it! This card is going to a friend of mine for her birthday and I just loved the little frog on it. This is a hostess stamp and you can only get this adorable stamp if you host a party with me or if you are able to put in a order large enough to receive hostess rewards.
I just loved the combination of pink and green together and I hope you are really inspired by this card. It was really easy to do and was something that I was doing while the presidential debate was on. This seemed so much happier.
Also yesterday I just announced that I simplified my VIP Program and now until October 24 you can receive double points as long as you order through my online shop. Also if all the orders between now and the end of October exceed $500 I will draw a random winner from customers who ordered a prize from my prize basket. So make sure to share with your friends or just host a party (they can even be online) and you can receive all the Stampin’ Rewards.
Maybe you are ready to take the plunge and want to receive all the benefits of being a demonstrator!! This is an exciting time to join because you can join me as we both go after the Incentive trip to Alaska. Or you can just join to receive the 20% discount on all the product. Whichever you decide you will be joining a great team and I can’t wait to welcome you!
Have a wonderful day!
Hello All!! How did you celebrate world card making day this year?? So this year WCMD fell on my husband’s birthday and my best friends wedding!!! Needless to say I spent my day getting my hair and make up done as I had the honor to stand by my best friends side. It was a truly beautiful day and a beautiful wedding. What’s more is it re-solidified why I do what I do! I have always wanted to be that person that sent beautiful cards for special occasions: birthdays, wedding, anniversaries, what ever the case may be. It has been a work in progress and some days are better than others but we are getting there. I did post a super short live video at the wedding (make sure to like my page so you never miss out) and the card that I made for her is on a previous post (the blue card)
Also to get your started on the right foot SU has a great promotion going on but it will end on October 5!! So don’t miss out. Make sure to use the hostess code for October or you could add it to your starter kit!!! The possibilities are endless.
I found this super cute video that Stampin’ Up! put out there and it really illustrates how great it is to get a hand made card in the mail:
It is a new Stampin’ Up! year and maybe now is the time to reset your goals and join me on this journey of sending hand made cards to family and friends. This is a journey not a marathon (I know cliche right) but it is so true. Maybe you need that extra push?? Join my team as a demonstrator and enjoy the great benefits that SU has to offer like Facebook groups, great upline (me), discounts on products, and inspiration all over… plus so much more. You are able to take this business wherever you want to go… which could mean just getting the discounts so that you can fuel your obsession (no judgement here I promise)
I am ready to make this year great with one card and special project at a time.
With lots of love!
We just received word that Stampin’ Up! is down to their final inventory of the amazing thoughtful branches set. Good news is you can still get it before it goes away for good.
Here is a card that I made for a friend’s wedding. It was very simple and I loved all the blue in the card. Great for her something blue!
It is hard to see in the picture but I did whisper white cut out in the background under the blue cut out. I used my silicone mat to apply my snail so that the adhesive would not stick all over the place. This card was really simple but just so lovely.
The Floral Boutique paper pack is just so elegant and something that you will want to add to your collection! This is also a paper that will be part of our bundled buy 3 get one FREE items starting October 1!
The Rose Wonder Stamp set has the beautiful Wedding sentiment that I used and the fun flowers that I put on the bottom.
I also made this card a very large on so that I could write a lot into it. My measurements are 5.5 x 6 inches.
All the items used can be found below and if you click on them they will bring you to my online store. Make sure to use the current month’s hostess code to be entered into a chance to win something from me 🙂
As always thank you for stopping by!
I hope you joined me yesterday when I went LIVE on Facebook showing you how to create this fun card using left over pieces from the July Paper Pumpkin. In case you missed it you can follow this link and while you are at it make sure to like my Facebook page too so you don’t miss them in the future! It is great to be back and I hope that you enjoyed this card and that it gets your creative gears going.
As I said in the video this card is going to a co-worker of mine for her birthday. This is why I love Paper Pumpkin, it ensures that I can continue to reach for my goals of sending friends a birthday card on time for their special day. Also it is fun to get something in the mail other than bills.
Tips and Tricks
Project Life Corner Punch: This is a must have item that I use all the time. It gives your edges a beautiful polished look and it is quick and easy.
Paper Pumpkin: Make sure to sign up by the 10th of each month to receive that fun orange box each month.
The first picture is the front of the card and it looks like the little sail boats are quietly sailing across the bay. The left picture is the inside of the card and there is lots of diamonds to go around and to sparkle on the birthday girl’s big day!!
Also don’t forget to use that bonus day cash that you received last month or forget about our beautiful Thoughtful Branches stamps set. This is a limited time stamp set that you are sure to not want to miss!!!
As always if you have any questions please feel free to email me or if you loved these creations the biggest honor is to share on social media and to comment below.
Make sure to use the current months hostess code for all orders under $150. Each order of at least $25 will receive a gift from me. Make sure to also check out all the products that I used below.
Have a great day!
