We are back with day 3 of my parade of using the Merry Pattern stamp set. Again I absolutely love this stamp set and I am so sad that it will be going away at the end of the month.
Here is the latest card that I created with the candles. I also decided to layer it over the gold snowflake to add a little bit of something extra to the card.
The great thing about this stamp set is that you can pair any color combination with these candles and they look amazing. I also added tis the season in momento black at the bottom of the card because it just needed a little bit more. Again this card was super simple to create and so much fun.
Also I wanted to share with you all a new event that that I am doing every 2nd and 4th Thursday if you live in Charlotte. I am going to host an open crop night and you can come and bring your projects and work on them or you can create the cards that I created from my card buffet. The price is $10 and then $2 for each card you create from my buffet. This would also be a great time to get those paper pumpkins completed or that scrapbook that is starting to collect some dust done too! Spots are limited so make sure to reserve your spot quick!
Thanks so much for joining me again today. Make sure to subscribe to my blog so that you do not miss a post and make sure to continue on with my 31 blog challenge.
Have a wonderful day and I will see you again tomorrow!
Hello!!! I am so glad that you are joining me today. If you have found me through the Global Design Project’s website, welcome! If you are a returning friend I hope you are having an amazing week!
To kick off our weekend I created this fun little project after being inspired by the Global Design Project #094 sketch this week.
When I first looked at this I instantly thought about those gorgeous new gold stripped bags that we have. From there I looked through all my stamps and decided that I really needed to add some ink to my Bike Ride stamp set because it was starting to get lonely. Since this stamp set just has a lot of great images I needed to find a set that had a great sentiment. Just Add Text seemed like the best choice for this. So here is my project:
I am going to use as an envelope for a card that I am making for a fellow friend. As some of you know I am changing jobs and moving up in my engineering career. We are about to move to Charlotte, NC from Baltimore, MD. I am really excited about this change because I am graduating from my rotational program and this move should be the last one for a while. I have moved to 4 different states in 3 years now and I am ready to settle. But with saying hello to this new adventure it also means that I have to tell some friends here goodbye… and that is so challenging for me. Anyways I wanted to make something really special for my friend because I am going to miss her dearly. We are work friends too so we usually did lunch together once a week and talked every morning. I hope that she loves it and I created it using her favorite color too Berry Burst.. even if she only knows it as purple 😉
I also wanted to remind everyone that if you need some additional inspiration that I have the Tic Tac Toe board still available and I would love to see your creations. Make sure to #pgttt001 on Instagram and Facebook so that I can see them and like them.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I know that I will. We are heading to TN to go white water rafting with family and I am beyond excited. I love white water rafting and it is always so much fun. Make sure to follow me on Instagram to maybe get some pictures, @papergears is my handle if you are searching for me.
Do you ever have creative block? When you sit down and you are ready to stamp with all the amazing stamps from the new catalog and you just get overwhelmed? I totally know the feeling and that is why I have been brainstorming on how to over come that. So this is my solution: Each week I am going to post a Tic Tac Toe game that you can participate in.
All you have to do is pick 3 items either across, diagonally, up, or down.
Make sure that you use the hastags #pgttt0001 and #papergears so that I can see all of your creations and comment on them on social media. I will be following Facebook and Instagram.
The other great thing about July is that for every $50 that you spend you will receive a $5 credit that you can use in August. This is a great time to get all those items that you have been wanting and now you can also get rewarded for it too!
Also now is a beautiful time to become a demonstrator. On top of the $125 worth of products that you can choose from for only $99.. which is already a great deal. You can also get $72 worth of free products including an pre-leased Christmas stamp set. You will also be the first to see the new Holiday catalog coming out and of course getting to join my fun team. Do you need more details?? Make sure to email me and I would be happy to share.
Have a great 4th of July,
