Make it a great Sunday!
I am back with another variation from yesterday with the candles using this Merry Pattern stamp set that is an exclusive for hostesses.
The only thing that I really changed about this card is the background paper but it really does change up this card. Again this is such an easy and fun card to create and they took no time to put together.
Since it is Saturday I am going to keep this post super short and sweet and I hope you have a great day!
See you tomorrow
We are coming close to the last days of my parade of this amazing Merry Pattern stamp set. Have you loved it so far? I hope so because I really loved creating projects with this amazing stamp set. I was flipping through Pinterest a few weeks ago and a card caught my eye using the gold fabric pattern in the Year of Cheer Designer Series Pack. I had just kept the thought of it in the back of my mind while creating this card. Well after I created the card and browsing Pinterest again I realized that I had completely cased Michelle Mills’ card accidentally.
I also created a video but it is causing me issues trying to pull it off my phone so I will work on it over the weekend and hopefully get it uploaded to YouTube soon!
So here is my finished card:
The products that I used are:
- Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper and Fresh Fig as my card base
- Silver Snowflake
- Stitched Framelits
- Merry Pattern Stamp set, Fresh Fig and Emerald Envy ink
Again minimal amount of product and super quick and fun to put together. Also a reminder that time is running out to get this amazing stamp!!
I also hope that if you are in the Charlotte area that you will join me for my new Open Crop nights. Check out my events tab up above to see when my next event is!
Ohhhh Nooooo!!! Are you regretting not signing up for your October Paper Pumpkin? Make sure to sign up now so that you can still get the November kit when it comes out and a birdie told me that they should have enough kits from October that you can get the refill pack when they become available. But you must be a subscriber in order to get it!
If you do decide to place an order through my online store make sure to use the hostess code. If I have enough people place an order I will give away 1 of the Merry Patterns stamp set so make sure to share with your friends!!
I am almost half way through my 31 day blog challenge and I am so excited about it. Have you been enjoying them? Make sure to subscribe to my blog to ensure that you never miss a post.
Thanks so much for joining me again today and I hope that you have a wonderful day!
We are back with day 3 of my parade of using the Merry Pattern stamp set. Again I absolutely love this stamp set and I am so sad that it will be going away at the end of the month.
Here is the latest card that I created with the candles. I also decided to layer it over the gold snowflake to add a little bit of something extra to the card.
The great thing about this stamp set is that you can pair any color combination with these candles and they look amazing. I also added tis the season in momento black at the bottom of the card because it just needed a little bit more. Again this card was super simple to create and so much fun.
Also I wanted to share with you all a new event that that I am doing every 2nd and 4th Thursday if you live in Charlotte. I am going to host an open crop night and you can come and bring your projects and work on them or you can create the cards that I created from my card buffet. The price is $10 and then $2 for each card you create from my buffet. This would also be a great time to get those paper pumpkins completed or that scrapbook that is starting to collect some dust done too! Spots are limited so make sure to reserve your spot quick!
Thanks so much for joining me again today. Make sure to subscribe to my blog so that you do not miss a post and make sure to continue on with my 31 blog challenge.
Have a wonderful day and I will see you again tomorrow!
Thanks so much for joining me again today. I am so excited to share this project with you today because it is super easy to put together and create. This also continues on with my week of featuring this awesome Merry Patterns stamp set.
For this set you will need very little product and supplies.
- Paper: Real Read, Whisper White, Night of Navy, and Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper
- Ink: Momento Black and Versa Mark
- Gold Embossing Powder
- Tombow Glue
- Stitched Framelits
Since this project is super simple you can create quite a few of them in one sitting and start to knock out your Christmas card list.
I stamped the inside of the deer with momento black and then took the outline of it and stamped that in Versa Mark and then gold embossed it. If your momento black is still a little wet the embossing powder will stick to it and give it a great effect.
This was the finished product and the picture does not do it justice. If you would like to see how I actually put it together click on the video and while you are there make sure to join my VIP group. I do a Facebook Live video each Monday creating different types of projects.
Thanks so much for joining me and make sure that you get your hands on this amazing stamp set before it goes away at the end of October.
Also today is the last day to subscribe for Paper Pumpkin! Make sure you do not miss it
Thanks so much for joining me today as I continue on my journey to do a blog a day in October.

Have a great day!
Have you seen these great products on Pinterest or anywhere else on the web? These would make super great Christmas presents for your neighbors, friends, or even extended family members that you want to get a little something for. These are so easy and quick to put together that you can make a lot of them really quickly.
So what you do is take and sandwich them together and put it through the big shot. You will need the regular platform vs the magnetic platform.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Make sure to visit me again tomorrow as I continue my 31 day blog challenge.
I hope you have a great Tuesday
Yesterday was my amazing husband’s birthday and we had a wonderful day. First we were able to sleep in and then we had a great lunch at a local wing place. It was super special since his mom decided to visit us for the weekend. We love living so much closer to family and them being able to come and visit us. We just had a lazy afternoon where Drew watched football games and then took a nap.
So I decided to make an oversized z-fold birthday card. Since I was not sending it I decided it didn’t have to be a regular sized card. I decided to make it super huge and decided to make it a 6″ x 12″ and then decided to do the score lines at 3″ and 6″. I decided to use the Foil Frenzy Designer Series paper because it looks like confetti going throughout the card and was fun and festive. I also wanted to make sure that the card really sparkled so I used the silver glitter paper and used one of my favorite thinlits. I absolutely love the Happy Birthday and then I used the Number Thinlits. Finally I used the honeycomb balloon to add balloons to the card too. I am so excited how this card came out and Drew loved it too!
Also a reminder that there are so many sales going on this month including the World Card Making day and the buy 3 get 1 free DSP sale. Make sure to use this month’s hostess code when you place your order under $150.

Hello!!! I am so excited to be joining the NC Demo’s on another hop. This is a fun hop because we are going to be sharing amazing techniques. If you are already a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in NC I hope that you will join us next week. If you would like more info about becoming a demonstrator please let me know.
The technique that I used was the Embossing Paste. This is a great and easy technique to use and learn on. It is also cost efficient and you can make a ton of card quickly and easily. I used the embossing paste, palette knives, and party decorative masks and then mixed in some gold glitter and flirty flamingo ink refill. Add as much of the glitter and the ink as you want and as dark as you want and then take your paste and spread it evenly over your mask and paper. For my paper I used Real Red and my card base was Night of Navy.
For the sentiment and stamp set I used the hostess exclusive stamp set Merry Patterns. I absolutely love this stamp set and so glad that I finally have it in my hands. You can get it for FREE if you host a party that earns $300.. how cool is that. I also used my favorite framelits, the stitched framelits, which really are a must have if they are not already part of your collection.
This card was really simple to put together and it reminds me of Christmas in Europe. Very simple but oh so elegant. I hope that you will continue to join us on our hop and head over to the next blog.
Make sure to go and hop over to Tamra!!

I am back with another hop with the amazing Global Stamping Friends!! I am absolutely loving being part of these and seeing the creations from around the world. I hope that you are enjoying this too!
This month we are doing a color challenge and boy was this a challenge. First I had to figure out if I had these colors and thankfully I did and second I am still trying to figure out where to put everything as we put the house together.
So here is the card that I created and designed
I wanted to do another simple Christmas card and I really enjoyed how this turned out. To achieve the background I took Pool Party re-inker and put some drops on a sponge triangle (Cut down your sponge) and then sponged-off on a scarp sheet of paper a little bit to lighten up the color. After that I just went to down on a piece of whisper white paper and stopped when I liked the effect. I feel it has a little bit of that winter storm vibe going on with it. I then stamped my sentiment and the deer in Smokey Slate and placed on top of a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock. For my embellishments I used our glitter enamel dots and just randomly placed them on the card.
Make sure to subscribe to my blog so that you always get the latest updates and happenings. I am also doing a product share and having a virtual Facebook party in my Paper Gears VIP Group that is open to anyone. If you would like to join all you have to do is ask 🙂
