2 Girls and a Stamp Poppies

Hey everyone! There is a special surprise here for you today, it’s Drew writing this to all you lovely people. So welcome and thank you for joining me. Wow 2020 has started fast and I am feeling both successful and exhausted so far. My goals are crystal clear in front of me and I am hitting them all hard. I just didn’t realize how tiring that would be. But there’s no time to stop now. My Word for this year is Bold and in the spirit of being Bold, I am doing more things I want to do that also put me out there in front of people. A good example: writing this blog for all of you to see. I am also doing more stamping and plan to post more of my work here this year.

I am really excited for our Winter Retreat that is coming up here at the beginning of February. The projects are going to be amazing and fun to make and I know the company will be exquisite. I think I am honestly just as excited to spend some time at the Bed and Breakfast that we are hosting at and eating more of the delicious homemade food that comes out of the kitchen there. If you haven’t had a chance to register yet, you really should. It’s going to be a blast.

For today’s card, we were using the Painted Poppies stamp set. First of all, this stamp set on its own is pretty spectacular. Each stamp looks like part of some work of art you would see in a museum. Combined together these stamps can make some incredible scenes. What’s really great though is that the stamp set has a whole suite of products to go with it and take it to incredible heights, the Peaceful Poppies suite.

Everything you see here is from the Peaceful Poppies suite. The stamped images are from the Painted Poppies set. The sentiments are from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. You can see the poppies that are punched out using the Poppy Moments Dies. The center badge is a combination of the Painted Labels Die set and the Peaceful Poppies Elements. Sprinkled across the front you also have the Peaceful Poppies Sequins giving those little pops of color. You can see how nicely all these elements come together. It’s a beautiful scene that’s just full of vibrant colors while being unique and drawing you in. Christina did an amazing job with this design. Someone will be very excited to receive this card.

I really hope you will check out this amazing suite. It all coordinates together so nicely. Whether you get just a couple pieces of it or go for every single bit, you are going to have endless combinations to put together for some spectacular cards and projects. Let us know what you think of this card and the suite in the comments below and definitely hop on over to the next blog!
