Sympathy

A little Sympathy

Hello,

It is always so difficult to find the right words to say or worse find a card that says what you want to say to a friend that has lost a loved ones. This happened to me a few days ago when a friend of mine shared that her aunt had passed. I was trying to think of what I could use to create a card and it hit me! So I used our limited edition Thoughtful branches and I think it came out perfect. This was a really simple card but that was what I was going for.

Make sure if you like this stamp set to get it before the end of August because after that it will be gone!

Tips and Tricks:

Tree Top: I used the new Emerald Envy (available for purchase Sept 1) glittery emboss powder. Now if you know me I love emboss powder and glitter so this truly brings my loves together. It gave this card a beautiful added dimension that is not truly captured on the picture.

Keep it Simple: This card is really simple. I used 2 colors of card stocks to add my layers, 1 stamp set, and 3 ink colors.

Paper Choices: Mint Macaroon is my base card color and then I used Very Vanilla to put my tree and stamped images on. I like that Very Vanilla doesn’t have the brightness to it like Whisper white which was what I was looking for.
