HI!!!
This weekend I am attending an alumni event at my Alma mater and since it is going to be a very cozy event I will be bringing my Stampin’ Up! stuff along so that everyone can chit chat together and stamp. I wanted a really simple project for this and I thought what about book marks? I am an engineer and most engineers love to read (even me but it takes a really great book for me to do it) so what better thing to do then to make a pretty book mark using our products!
I created this sample one to send to a friend of mine who I haven’t seen in a little bit. We were basically neighbors and saw each other daily so it feels like forever since I have seen her and I miss her dearly.
All I did was use our Paper Trimmer to cut out a rectangle (whatever size really) then took our ornate punch and punched out the top. Using our grateful bunch stamp set I put on the front design. I only used 3 ink pads. With the green I stamped once in the middle and then next right above it (without re-inking) and then again at the bottom. I did the same with the butterflies too. The sentiments say you are loved {a lot} which is a tad bit hard to see but I didn’t want actual dimension on this since it is supposed to go into a book.
You can use any type of ribbon for the top, I decided to use the sequins because it gave it a little bit of pop 🙂
Hope you enjoyed and if you would like to purchase any of these products I would appreciate if you visited my store and bought through me.
Make it a great one!
