NC Demo Hop: Techniques

Hello!!! I am so excited to be joining the NC Demo’s on another hop. This is a fun hop because we are going to be sharing amazing techniques. If you are already a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in NC I hope that you will join us next week. If you would like more info about becoming a demonstrator please let me know.

The technique that I used was the Embossing Paste. This is a great and easy technique to use and learn on. It is also cost efficient and you can make a ton of card quickly and easily. I used the embossing paste, palette knives, and party decorative masks and then mixed in some gold glitter and flirty flamingo ink refill. Add as much of the glitter and the ink as you want and as dark as you want and then take your paste and spread it evenly over your mask and paper. For my paper I used Real Red and my card base was Night of Navy.

For the sentiment and stamp set I used the hostess exclusive stamp set Merry Patterns. I absolutely love this stamp set and so glad that I finally have it in my hands. You can get it for FREE if you host a party that earns $300.. how cool is that. I also used my favorite framelits, the stitched framelits, which really are a must have if they are not already part of your collection.

This card was really simple to put together and it reminds me of Christmas in Europe. Very simple but oh so elegant. I hope that you will continue to join us on our hop and head over to the next blog.

Make sure to go and hop over to Tamra!!

  1. Great card Christina. I love the way you used the embossing paste with the gold glitter. Very fun! It was great to meet you at the quarterly last weekend too. I hope to see you soon!
